Changes in warranty coverage
The item cost for Pre-Orders and PasaBuy purchases includes a complimentary one-time warranty at no extra charge. This ensures that your item is inspected for quality and condition before it reaches you.
However, extended warranties will be an optional add-ons. As product and labor costs continue to rise—especially in inspection and restoration—we’ve separated extended warranty pricing to keep overall costs competitive while giving you greater freedom to choose the level of protection that suits your needs.
We’ve also made extended warranty options available for on-hand items, allowing all customers access to enhanced support and peace of mind.
Warranty Guideline
At J’s Toy Box, every purchase comes with a complimentary one-time warranty, giving you peace of mind from checkout to delivery. For collectors seeking added protection, we also offer extended warranty options tailored to your needs.
Please take a moment to review the terms below to understand what’s covered and how our warranty works—your satisfaction is our priority.
1. Warranty Coverage
All Pre-Order and PasaBuy purchases from J’s Toy Box include a free one-time warranty that covers the entire item procurement process.
- Upon arrival, each item is carefully inspected to ensure it meets our quality standards.
- For on-hand Mint-In-Sealed-Box (MISB) items, we verify mint condition prior to shipping.
This complimentary warranty assures your item is in excellent condition before it reaches you. It expires once the item is handed over to you or your selected shipping courier.
If you choose to forego our inspection service, the warranty will be considered void, unless otherwise agreed upon beforehand.
2. Extended Warranty Options
You can choose to extend your warranty from the following terms based on your needs:
- Extended Warranty – 3 Months This includes all the benefits of the one-time warranty and extends coverage for three months. It protects your item against damage caused by local shipping or mishandling during this period.
- Extended Warranty – 6 Months This option provides the same coverage as
above but extends protection for six months, offering longer-term assurance against shipping-related damage or mishandling.
3. Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to warranty claims. This includes shipping the item to and from our store for inspection or restoration.
4. Coverage Scope
Coverage under the warranty includes restoration services only, and is limited to minor fixes. Please note that molding of missing parts is not included in the warranty scope.
Please note that we do not offer product replacements or refunds under any warranty term.
5. Restoration Timeline
The time required to restore an item will vary depending on the extent of the damage, our current workload, and staff availability. We will do our best to complete the restoration as quickly as possible and keep you informed throughout the process.
6. Documentation
For transparency and quality assurance, we will take photos and/or video recordings during our inspection and restoration process. These will serve as documentation for your warranty claim.
