Changes in warranty coverage

Please note that the item cost for Pre-Orders and PasaBuys no longer includes a warranty. Due to rising product and labor costs—especially for inspecting and restoring items—we’ve decided to offer the warranty as a separate add-on.

This change allows us to keep our prices competitive while giving you greater flexibility to choose whether or not you’d like to include a warranty with your purchase.

Additionally, we now offer this optional warranty for on-hand items as well, helping us provide even better customer service across all orders.

Warranty Guideline

At J’s Toy Box, we offer flexible warranty options to give you peace of mind with every purchase. Please read the following terms carefully to understand how our warranty works and what it covers.

1. Warranty Options

You can choose from the following warranty terms based on your needs:

  • One-Time Warranty This warranty covers the entire item procurement process. For Pre-Order and PasaBuy items, we will inspect your item upon arrival to ensure it is in good condition before releasing it. This option is also ideal for on-hand Mint-In-Sealed-Box (MISB) items, as we will carefully inspect the product prior to shipping to confirm it is in mint condition. The warranty expires once the item is handed over to you or your chosen shipping courier. If you decline our offer to inspect the item, the warranty will be voided, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
  • Extended Warranty – 3 Months This includes all the benefits of the one-time warranty and extends coverage for three months. It protects your item against damage caused by local shipping or mishandling during this period.
  • Extended Warranty – 6 Months This option provides the same coverage as
    above but extends protection for six months, offering longer-term assurance against shipping-related damage or mishandling.

2. Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to warranty claims. This includes shipping the item to and from our store for inspection or restoration.

3. Coverage Scope

Our warranty covers item restoration only. Please note that we do not offer product replacements or refunds under any warranty term.

4. Restoration Timeline

The time required to restore an item will vary depending on the extent of the damage, our current workload, and staff availability. We will do our best to complete the restoration as quickly as possible and keep you informed throughout the process.

5. Documentation

For transparency and quality assurance, we will take photos and/or video recordings during our inspection and restoration process. These will serve as documentation for your warranty claim.
